That picture above is kind of funny, actually. My best friend, Martin, and I went fishing on the Verdigris River. There was this little dock that was submerged about 1/2 inch under water. I walked out on it to fish. Martin came over the ridge and couldn't see the dock and thought I WAS walking on water. His reaction was pretty funny and he said we ought to get some pictures, so voila!

Rick...now you are sounding like a coach...bad mouthing your chances for the season...I don't really think the Central Oklahoma Middle School Fightin' Warriors are going to give you much trouble in the days ahead...after all, how much did horned frogs hurt you????

I'm just speaking from experience. When OU is ranked number one early on, historically, we have botched it. When we creep up from number 8 or 10 to number one, then there is a real chance to actually BE number one.

Not bad! If they get through the Big 12 undefeated, they should definitely be in the title game. Same goes for Alabama and the SEC.
