A little way from our motel, we found Billy Gail's Cafe. OH MY GOODNESS!!! They served the biggest pancakes I have ever seen in my life! Take a look at these bad mamas! They literally hung off the plates! It was so much fun and they were really good. It was definately a place that I would recommend and that we would return to. I'll probably even make a post on the Hungry Traveler about this one!

"The Hungry Traveler" will live on
My good friend, Jacob Franklin, as agreed to take over the task of being "The Hungry Traveler"! I know he will do a great job.

A Sad Day
I have decided to give up on The Hungry Traveler. It doesn't make any since for me to continue it. I would love to pass it on to anyone who would like it.
I am going to leave it up for a month or so, then delete it, if no one wants to be The Hungry Traveler.

Big Day
We had a really big day today. We got on the ferry this morning and we all went to Shekou. I wanted the kids and Sally to see Shekou and meet my language teachers. We ate lunch at Papa John's, and then went off to Wal-Mart.
We were able to get the girls some affordable clothes that fit, and found a few other fun things. One thing we saw that you just wouldn't see at Wal-Mart in the USA, is vacuumed packed chicken's feet for sale at the check out counter. Now, that's "all China".
We took the ferry back to Kowloon. Unfortunately, Audrey wasn't feeling too great at lunch and Emily isn't feeling too good right now. I'll post some pictures from Shekou tomorrow.

The Hungry Traveler goes "beta"
Yep, that's right! I've made the switch to beta.blogger. It will be especially helpful on The Hungry Traveler, as it will allow users to click on a label to see all the rated restaurants in Macau, for instance. It will also allow users to see all of the restaurants with a 3 Fry rating.
I will also convert BoyneBlog, but it is too late tonight to continue to work on it.

Two things
If you have never visited my other blog, The Hungry Traveler, please check it out. Please leave comments if you agree or disagree with my ratings. You can go to it here.
Also, if you have never placed a "pin" in my guest map, please take a moment and do it now. You'll find it on the right hand column, right above the "Visitors Online" chart.
And above all, thanks for taking time to read my blog.

Traveling
We will all be leaving a little later today for 5 days in Macau. Macau is a former Portuguese colony that was given back to China at the end of 4 or 500 years in 1999. It is a beautiful, but very small and very, very crowded city. I haven't been there since 1990; my family has only passed through on the way to China. I am excited that they will get to see Macau.
I won't have a computer while I am there, but I hope to get on an internet cafe to make a post or two. I hope to have a few pictures by the end of the week to post when I get back. I will also be making an entry or two into "The Hungry Traveler" by the end of the week.
