Goodbye 2011
The final page of 2011 is about to turn. It has been an interesting chapter.
Oklahoma has faced some really strange weather and geological events.
We started with record breaking cold weather. We recorded a -39 degree F and record snowfalls. The summer brought record breaking heat. I think we topped out at 117 degrees. (If I'm wrong on these numbers, I'll change it and remove this caveat).
This summer, we had a record drought.
Then, the incredible wild-fires.
This fall, we had the largest earthquake in recorded Oklahoma history. The only one most assuredly larger, would be the New Madrid quake of 1811. Since no recording devices were available then, there's no way of really knowing for sure.
So much for the weather report.
We had some good times and some bad times. We had some very good memories and some difficult memories.
God blessed us abundantly during 2011. As He always does!
Thank you, Lord, for the good and the bad - all for YOUR glory!

A little left
I think our yard had more snow left today than anywhere else around. With temps in the 50's today and 60's tomorrow, the snow won't be long for this world.

OK This is just ridiculous!
We ended up with an additional 4 inches or so after the 10-12 inches we had from the blizzard. Just crazy.
