Blogiversary

Yesterday celebrated my 4 year blogiversary with my blog. It started out much different than this, but I sure have had fun along the way.

Thanks to all who are faithful readers and commentors. I've enjoyed getting to know many of you though this media.

Happy blogiversary! Wow! Who knew?

I'd be curious, since I'm a newbie around here, what changes have you made to your site? Also, what pointers can you offer to someone like me who is just starting out?

Steve,
The biggest change is with the intent. I started out as an anonymous place to talk about things. However, I soon realized the communication possibilities and almost immediately went a different route. I currently have "other" blogs for my anonymous posting. One of which I recently abandoned, but have left it up with a link to my church website.

http://Nomad4God.blogspot.com (the others are still active and will remain secret. mwaahhh haaa haa haaaa! )

I've had several different blogger layouts and lots of different widgets/java scripts on the sides. No big deal.

The most fun came when I figured out how to do my own blog banner pic. I've already got a lineup for the next several months!

Micah Fries is the one you should ask.

Personally, I think you are doing a terrific job on your blog! It is timely and you post frequently. Your posts range from serious to delirious. I like it.

Thanks for the praise...I'm really getting into it, it's fun to communicate with people from all over, and just to have a good time.

It's good to put work aside and talk about things that aren't work related! For once in my life, I just can be an average joe...or Steve, in my case...

I'll try to find your anonymous postings...that'll give me something to do when I'm not sleeping at night!

Seriously, I know why you were posting that way...due to your assignment (if you remember where I work, you know I understand, maybe better than most!)
