Problems

This has been a very busy, problem filled weekend. Last Thursday night, my grandmother had to be taken to Muskogee Regional Medical Center because she couldn't breathe. She spent the night in the ER. At 8 am Friday morning, she was finally put in a room. At about 10:30 Friday morning, she was rushed to Intermediate Care ICU because her blood pressure bottomed out. As time progressed, her condition worsened. To make the long story short, the doctor said that her body was filled with infection and if she hadn't been brought to the hospital when she was, she would not have survived. She is currently doing better, but still has a very long road ahead of her.

I spent Friday night with her in ICU and finally left at about 4:30 am. I am terribly disappointed in myself because it absolutely wiped me out on Saturday. I guess I'm not as young as I used to be! Ha!

Audrey was away at Falls Creek last week. She attended with my friend's, Martin Whipple, kids through Emmanuel Baptist Church in Enid. She wanted to attend an "after camp" party Sunday night. To make that long story short, I drove to pick her up on Monday. When we got back, we went to Muskogee to see Sally at work and to see my grandmother.

Please pray for my grandmother. She is currently back in a regular room, but doesn't seem to be able to rest and to sleep. Her vital signs are good; the doctors are encouraged. Pray that God would continue to heal her. Thanks...
