5 months from tonight

5 months from tonight we'll be at my grandma's house opening Christmas presents!

Doesn't that just bring a smile to your soul?!?

In four months and four days, I can start putting up my Christmas lights!

Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see Rick...you are colorizing pictures from 50 years ago, baking cookies, and now counting the days until Christmas...

Are you sure you are a man? :)

I love Christmas! If my wife would let me, I'd put up the Christmas decorations now and just leave them up all year! I love Christmas!

Nothing but grief.

Nothing but grief.

I'm gonna have to start moderating my comments!

I'm ALL man, just a boy at heart.

I spoke with my wife just now on the phone and told her that in September, I'm gonna get all the Christmas lights out and re-organize them for this year. This last year was the first year in our "pastorium" and I didn't have a real good plan. I've been thinking about it for a while now and think I can do it better this year!

You aren't supposed to open presents until Christmas morning ... you are doing it all wrong!!! :D (this has been a debate on different sides of our family for years ... too funny)

Dori,
Fortunately, we have a good system working here. My family has ALWAYS opened them on Christmas Eve and my wife's family has ALWAYS opened them on Christmas morning, so it "makes happy" for us to have this arrangement!

Rick...please send me a reminder when you get ready to decorate...I'll try to convince my wife that now is the time!

Maybe you and I should start a blog Christmas decorating contest!!!!

I bet my house will beat your house!

You got a deal.

I would have won hands down if we hadn't gotten rid of all of our decorations when we left Thailand to live in a high-rise in Hong Kong!

My traditional decoration day is the day after Thanksgiving (or sometimes that afternoon!)

I see you have matured Rick.
The pastorship is doing a good work in you. You are now putting God before OU football.

(And how many days - and hours - til kickoff?)
