Who are they kidding?

David Beckham has left Real Madrid for the LA Galaxy soccer team. First of all, let me say that I am NOT a soccer fan. I've tried. Oh how I've tried to like it. There is never a shortage of soccer on TV overseas. Anyway, CNN announced his move and that he will be making ONE MILLION DOLLARS A WEEK!!

I don't care how good he is. It is a game. No one is worth ONE MILLION DOLLARS A WEEK! I don't care what they do, no one can justify making ONE MILLION DOLLARS A WEEK!

(This rant is now over and I'll be returning to regular blogging.)

What's worse than getting paid 1 millions a week? Getting paid 20 million not to work. I read a few weeks ago where the CEO of Home Depot to a SEVERANCE package for resigning that paid him 20 million (or something crazy like that).

Posh needs the money for her wardrobe! L.A. will be a dream for that family! I am sure they will find a way to spend it.

Are professional soccer teams really generating a profit in excess of 50 million dollars a WEEK?

I'm not really anonymous - that last comment was me :-)
For some reason Blogger started showing all but the blog itself in Chinese. I stumbled around a while and found the setting to make it all in English.
