We are having such great weather right now. Today's high was in the 70's. The low was about 50. Tomorrow should be much the same as today. Hurray!
We worked on uncovering the pool today to get ready for Memorial Day. The water underneath the cover was surprisingly clear. The girls wanted to go swimming as soon as they got home, but the water is too cold and we haven't added chlorine yet, so they'll have to wait a couple of days.
As a side note, they are still in school making up "ice days" that they didn't' even miss in the first place. Monday is their last day of school. They are OK with it, because they would have had to go another two weeks or so if we were still in Hong Kong.
The real problem right now is all the water. The lake is nearly 13 feet above normal. We can't even get to the docks. I know, I know; poor me. Well, it is sad! The bass boat is in the dock and it is prime bass season that we're missing.
C'est la vie.
