Starting to look like an office again

The final cleaning of the new library floor and a new coat of paint makes the place look pretty good.

This kind of price gouging otta be against the law!

There is no cause to have prices this high! How can they sleep at night? This is an outrage!

No contest

Our little flood pales in comparison to the catastrophic heartache the people in the Gulf Coast are experiencing. Words are inadequate to express the overwhelming sadness/burden/concern for the victims.

And the looters.... shoot 'em on sight. No mercy.

Number 7????

AP has ranked OU 7th in the pre-season poll. What's up with that? How dare they? All it does is gives us a good challenge to face. We'll show 'em.

BOOMER SOONER!

I HATE POP UPS!

Oh, how I hate them! My computer has been "infested" with some sort of ad-ware that gives me an unwanted pop up every 10 minutes. I have Google pop up blocker and Windows pop up blocker. I have run Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware, but to no avail.

It is my personal and humble opinion that whoever devised these horrible viruses should be strung up by his toenails and everyone who has been hacked should be given a pair of tweezers and allowed to "go to town" on the creep! (I'm holding back on how I really feel!)

Have I said that I hate pop ups?

Orchids

How about a little something besides flood pictures? These orchids are growing in our yard. We thought they were mighty pretty.

Looking good.

Son, you can work hard, or you can work smart...

The main floor is essentially "mud free"

Sending some of the wooden items off to be refinished.

Things are looking up!

Well, some good news, finally. We have water, power, and AIR CONDITIONING! We are finished cleaning the mud out of the building and are ready to start cleaning furniture and getting it back inside.

We are all a little leary, though, because there are rumours that they are going to let more water out of the dam. The river is up some, but we hope it won't affect us again.
