My friends and former colleagues are being evacuated from the Ivory Coast right now. It is a very difficult time in thier lives and unlike anything most Americans (or Europeans or Canadians, or etc, etc.) will ever experience. We came close to evacuation several times while we were in West Africa. I pray that we won't have to experience that here in Thailand.
