Guinea Update

I wrote an email to someone who lives in Guinea about the coup last week. Here is their response:

Yes, we had a coup d'etat here this past week, but it was peaceful. The military took over and a new president has been declared. He's a ... Guerze [certain tribe] from the forest region and said to be a Christian!! Can you believe it?? And, on top of that, everyone is in favor of him! So, for now, things are going well. Pray that things will continue to be peaceful and the country can begin to come out of its despair and oppression.

What an incredible work of God if it turns out that this man is a Christian! This country is 98% Muslim!

Let us pray that God would use this man to lead this lost nation to Himself!
