That's all. This is just a description of a type of American, like "young Americans," or "disabled Americans" or "married Americans," not a label. Obama singled them out because Muslims have often been the victims of prejudice since 9/11, regardless of the fact that a vast majority of them simply want to live their lives and worship their god peacefully. He was trying to say that no one should be treated badly because of what they believe, and that a religion as a whole should not be discriminated against because of what a very small group of extremists did.<br /><br />From your reaction to this and every other thing Obama says and does, it seems that you WANT to dislike him. I understand disagreeing with his political views or his decisions, but this is clearly an instance of him trying to unite a country that too often tries to point fingers at each other and divide into the "us" and "them."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
